Tell us a bit about Half Dozen Other
The idea was born around 5 years ago while searching for the perfect supplier for our first Pot Kettle Black site. We wanted to offer quality and choice that we couldn’t buy, so we decided to create Half Dozen Other and make them ourselves.
So, what’s the plan?
Our new bakehouse is Half Dozen Other’s first customer-facing store, extending our capacity to allow for even more bakes. We wanted to create a concept bakery store where you can relax with a coffee and a cake, all while watching our team of bakers create their incredible masterpieces.
Why Red Bank?
The vision FEC presented is precisely what we wanted the future of Half Dozen Other to be. We’re excited to be at the forefront of Manchester’s newest emerging neighbourhood.

Our head baker is keeping it classic with a freshly baked all-butter croissant!
